The Brookwood Warriors will take a season-ending 38-0 shutout into a home playoff date.

The Warriors (10-1, 5-1 GISA 3-AAA) defeated Westwood on the road Friday night and will return home next Friday for a first-round playoff game against Trinity Christian.

Cale Deese led the offense, scoring three touchdowns in the finale. He took them in from the 5-yard, 10-yard and 25-yard lines.

Taylor Patterson had a 30-yard touchdown run and John Stauffer had a 40-yard touchdown catch from Kullen Wells.

He also hit a 39-yard field goal.

Jake Piazza had “several really good catches that extended long drives,” coach Shane Boggs said.

But it was another night for the defense to shine. The Warriors had eight sacks total from Cole Jarrett, Garrett Elmore, Codi Noble, Aaron Howell and Chason Ives.
